“Welcome Friends!!!

My love of photography was born from my appreciation of
all things wild and from an inherent quest to explore the natural
world around me. I can't imagine doing anything else that would
provide the satisfaction I receive from sharing my photography with others, opening windows that help enrich their lives and appreciation for all the beauty this planet has to offer.

“I grew up in Utah were at a young age I gained an
appreciation for the outdoors and the natural world. It was
there that I nurtured a passion for photography.

I moved to Alaska in my early twenties and lived there for ten years.

Recently I moved to Whitefish, MT. I have now turned my focus to one of my favorite places in the world, Glacier National Park. I work for the Park Service in the summer and guide sled dog tours in the winter, I am so blessed that I get to enjoy my two passions, training sled dogs and taking photographs.

Throughout my whole life I have always tried to carry a camera with me. I purchased my first one at a garage sale when I was six years old. The thing that attracted me the most about photography was it forced me to look at the world in a different light. looking through the viewfinder makes you process the entire scene before you click the button. Photography is also about the whole
journey it takes to get to that perfect moment. Sometimes you have to go back numerous times. But
when everything aligns just right, it is magic.
When I photograph an area I am usually living there for
months…............waiting!
